Assistant Maintenance Manager – International Area (m/f)
Location: Lisbon
Pestana Hotel Group is recruiting an Assistant Maintenance Manager – International Area, based in Lisbon, to work closely with the Regional Maintenance Manager in supporting, monitoring, and enhancing hotel maintenance operations across its international units.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional Maintenance Manager in the technical and operational follow-up of the Group’s international units.
- Oversee maintenance works and technical interventions, ensuring compliance with the standards and procedures defined by the Group.
- Monitor and coordinate suppliers and external service providers.
- Assist in identifying technical and operational needs across different hotel units.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes, as well as to the efficiency and reliability of infrastructures and equipment.
- Travel internationally whenever required to provide on-site technical and operational support.
Candidate Profile:
- Technical Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Diploma holders with strong experience can also be considered.
- Previous experience in hotel maintenance will be considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Availability to be based in Lisbon, with frequent travel across Europe and occasional travel to North and South America.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Italian or French will be considered an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
