Scope
Supervise the team members in charge of the unit where it operates, in order to ensure compliance with maintenance, repair and conservation objectives and to respond efficiently to requests from the unit's operation or from Shared Services.
Responsabilities and areas of action
- Supervise the activities of the team members in charge, seeking to create work routines, delegate responsibilities, develop know-how in order to ensure efficient and profitable performance.
- Organize the team's schedules according to the shifts and the needs of the service, as well as dealing with the necessary documentation to be delivered to Human Resources regarding hours, attendance, time off, holidays, overtime, etc. for salary processing purposes using institutionalized reports and software.
- Collaborate with the team members in the execution of maintenance, repair and conservation for the unit where he works from:
Electrical systems (switchboards, transformer stations, etc.);
HVAC systems (air conditioning and ventilation) and cold water circuits;
Computer systems (cabling) and telephone networks;
Hot water circuits (gas or electric power stations);
Fire and intrusion detection and CCTV systems;
- Control the unit's energy consumption (light, gas, water), collaborating in daily assessments in order to delineate consumption patterns and inform its direct management and the unit's management about them, as well as detect possible deviations and outline savings measures to be implemented together with its team.
- Supervise the stocks of material fundamental to the normal execution of functions in the Department, regularly carrying out the necessary purchase requisitions taking into account the work in progress and the occupation rates/events foreseen, as well as contacting suppliers and/or service providers, whenever justified, taking care to ensure the appropriate price and quality/cost ratio.
- Collaborate in the daily maintenance of the swimming pool(s) where it operates, carrying out water quality control analyses and assessing the need for the placement of appropriate chemical products.
- Supervise the implementation of the HACCP guidelines applicable to pool maintenance in order to guarantee the quality certification for the use of these spaces.
- Meet daily with the operational heads of the unit of the various sections (Management, Housekeeping, Reception, Kitchen, Restaurant/Bar, etc.) to brief on the service and events to occur, situations and objectives to be taken into account, etc., in order to be able to plan and organize the priorities of work with the members of its team in order to respond to the requests of the Operation.
- Obtain proposals and select the best solutions for implementation as well as monitor and monitor the costs of your area against the approved budgets, presenting the respective reports.
