This program encompasses a 9-month immersive experience at our Shared Services. Choose your preferred area and join our dynamic and creative teams ready to build the future at Pestana Hotel Group.

Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to experience a different area for a week, besides the one you joined, as well as spending another week working in one of our hotels/pousadas to strengthen your knowledge of the industry.

Growing Together is the Pestana Hotel Group global development program that aims to attract and develop future department heads and/or team leaders for our hospitality business.

This program allows the interaction and learning opportunities from our Pestana leaders, through the immersion in multiple operational and shared services areas as well as on-the-job training. Growing together is an 18 to 21 month program.

1st Phase - Corporate Experience

Experiences at our offices in Algarve and Lisbon, in multiple corporate areas.

2nd Phase - Hospitality Experience

Hospitality experience in 3 different units in Portugal and 2 different international units (either in Europe or Africa), in different departments and Pestana Hotel Group's brands

3rd Phase - Specialization in Unit or Department management

Allocation to a specific unit or department for the development of the specialisation, which lasts between 6 and 9 months.


Main goals:

1. Retain, prepare and develop talent to assume management and leadership positions.

2. Acquire and improve skills in the areas of management and hotel operation;

3. Share and experience challenges in the different Pestana working environments.


Candidates must be available for geographical mobility, in Portugal and in other geographies where PHG is present.

Pestana Mobility is the development program that aims to retain and develop talent by promoting experiences in different geographies and/or functions.

A program that allows for the following:

  • Sharing experiences across different geographies and/or functions
  • Cross-training opportunities
  • Support in filling specific temporary needs that the Group may face
