IT Business Partner (m/f) - Lisboa

Mission

Make the bridge between the world of business and technology, understanding the specific goals of the overall business and individual departments and ensuring that those needs will be translated into technology requirements for IT development.

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

• Liaising between the IT department and the executive level of PHG business units
• Acting as an information source and communicator between IT and PHG business units
• Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth
• Support the Business Case development with high level work break down structure (WBS) and cost estimation
• Enhancing the quality of IT products and services, in close collaboration with Quality Assurance team
• Analysing the design of technical systems and business models
• Using IT data for business insights
• Analysing business needs, identifying stakeholders’ requirements and documenting them
• Lead the process of business requirements conversion into technical solutions in all the disciplines of an IT project
• Ensure that the design of IT solutions adhere to PHG IT standards and architecture involving all relevant IT SME and obtaining solution approval from Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity
• Sourcing and implementing new business technology, under the direction of Demand Management
• Helping Architecture in finding technological solutions to business requirements
• Conduct procurement processes, including documentation deliverables, under the direction of Demand Management
• Producing reports on application development and service performance in close collaboration with PMO, Release Management, IT Applications, and IT Infrastructure teams
• Organize and lead multidisciplinary squads in the definition and design of complex solutions under the direction of Demand
• Follow the execution of transformational projects with special relevance to analysis, design, and quality assurance phases to guarantee business objectives

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, information technology, business, or related field
• MBA graduation is a plus
• 3+ years in an IT management position
• 8+ years in a technology-driven role

• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Experience in software development lifecycle and software factory processes
• Knowledge of IT best practices
• Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications are a plus
• Knowledge on service-oriented architecture and API-centric applications model
• Deep understanding of digital technology
• Experience in UML and User Journey mapping are a plus.
