Let me introduce myself: my name is Isabel and I work as HR Senior Manager for 6 Hotels in Europe. Pestana Amsterdam is a beautiful monumental hotel located alongside the Amstel River, and I am looking for passionate colleagues to join our team.

Pestana Amsterdam Riverside is part of the Pestana Collection Hotels. Pestana Amsterdam Riverside Hotel is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). The HRBP is focused on implementing the human resources strategy for recruitment, onboarding, integration, performance, and talent policies for each team/individual on a local level.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Manage recruitment and hiring processes, including the announcement of job vacancies on different channels, screening CVs and conducting screening interviews, along with validating the selected candidates and submiting admission proposals.
  • Manage the contractual agreements of employment.
  • Attend recruitment events in hotel schools and universities, employability events, organizing roadshows, and liaison with universities and temporary work agencies.
  • Monitor the onboarding process by ensuring that all procedures follow local legislation and preparing appropriate induction plan.
  • Control and monitor the onboarding, offboarding, and cross boarding processes as well as annual holidays plans.
  • Conduct exit interviews on offboards.
  • Control absences, overtime, holidays, subsidies, commissions, pay-out items for BPO.
  • Perform salary processing of the unit.
  • Connect with service providers according the local geography.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual results within HR KPIs (GOP, Outsourcing, Overtime etc).
  • Organize teambuilding activities and special events

  • Ideally have completed MBO or HBO education in the field of Hospitality, Management or Human Resources
  • Are fluent in English; Dutch is not mandatory but preferred
  • Have knowledge of Dutch Labour Law

  • Have prior experience in a similar position
